Tutoring Workshops
$25 per student for 1-3 student(s) group sessions.
Times: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
At Strokes of Genius, LLC., our overarching goal is to thoroughly prepare students for the dynamic and ever-evolving Careers of the Future! To achieve this, we diligently engage with students to deliver comprehensive lessons focusing on the Technological Core areas of education, including Computer Science, Technology, English, and Math. Our approach is deeply rooted in empiricism, meaning that our instructional methods are meticulously structured to provide empirical data that demonstrates the student's grasp of the material, ensuring a highly effective learning experience.
Community Support Services
Educational Skill-Building
In collaboration with the Community Mitigation & Volunteer Coordinator of the Roanoke Police Department and R.E.S.E.T., SOG provides educational skill-building to referred students currently not in school due to various circumstances.
Our mission is to keep them up to their educational skill-level in their CORE classes.
Strokes of Genius Guidelines:
A. Tutoring will provide an Assessment Evaluation of current academic status at the 1st Session and updated assessments throughout the program. These evaluations will be used to see where the student stands, where they may have weaknesses in specific academic fields and for measuring total progress.
B. Tutoring workshops are up to 2- hour long in the following methods:
Make-Up work
Lesson Review
Build Resources for learning
Technological Literacy (Proper applications/programs to use for assignments)
Grammar Assistance
Test Preparation
C. Tutor will provide assistance on up to 2 subjects per session
D. Tutor may or may not provide snacks/beverages
